MONITOR ADJUSTMENT

Before set-up, it is best that your monitor has not been on for than 30 minutes. Desired screen resolution is 800 X 600 (for mid-size monitor) or higher (1024x768 for large monitors), 32-bit millions of colors and Gamma = 1.8.

Please use the following control strip to adjust your monitor. The gray scale should run from pure white (left-most square "0") to pure black (right-most square "100 ) with each number in between having its own shade of gray.  The grays for 0, 2, 5, 10, 15, etc. should ALL look different.  If they do not, your monitor may not be set for 32-bit, or your system may not have a video card.

*You should not have more than one truly white or black square*
