Media Gallery is pleased to announce the opening of The Altis: Portraits of the Immortals series, to be on exhibition in the gallery from January 17- February 10, 2002.

Rebecca Rice of the Boston Ballet, will create a new ballet directly inspired by The Altis. This new commission will debut as a World Premiere during the evening of the opening (January 17, 2002) and Martin Cooper will be designing the costumes.

The event will be a real treat for the Boston Community. Net proceeds to benefit Casting for Recovery, a unique organization that teaches cancer survivors the art of fly-fishing as part of their physical and mental recovery.
